That minor problem has actually bothered me quite a bit before I got my quartz AT. I looked at several watches and I can only assume Omega just puts the second hand on at random. Mine almost always 'hits' between the markers. One reason this always bothers me is because my Seiko watches really line up pretty good at 1/3 the cost. At least I'm not alone on this. Frank
