I've noticed that most people recommend winding a hand wound watch first thing in the morning for the best results. Is there any reason not to wind it more often than once a day?
I've noticed that my Speedmaster Pro seems to keep slightly better time if I wind it in the morning and then again at night when I remove it.
As a side note, it runs slightly faster when I don't wind it before retiring. I would have thought it would run slower if not fully wound rather than faster. Seems to defy logic in my opinion.
