Not ten times sturdier -- if dropped 3 meters onto cement, both will break equally. Excessively increased water resistance does little for you. And since the SMP is rated to a depth 10 times what a SCUBA diver could ever go to, what good is having another 10 times over than? Except from the simple 'bigger is better'
: So, what to do?
Since this is a matter of personal preference, you will have to make the decision yourself. Only you can predict what you can live with considering that the light weight of the Breitling seems unappealing to you.
