Heading to the Caribbean

I'm heading to the Caribbean (St. Thomas) in a few weeks on a cruise vacation. I have been there before and I am aware of some great deals to be had on watches there.

I'm looking for an Omega Seamaster (300 M Chronometer).

Is this a good idea to buy in the Caribbean? Will I still get the full manufacturer's warranty?
Will I really get a better deal there then buying in the continental US.

Any know of a reputable place in St. Thomas to make this purchase? What can I expect to pay?
