Of course. That is what it is made for.
I don't believe in babying a watch because it costs over 1K. After all, I have been driving the piss out of a 911 on racetracks for years and feel my watches shold be used in the same manner. A Porsche is designed from the ground up for being driven in anger on a track and so is an Omega designed to be worn daily and through all activities. After all, we are not talking Rolls Royces and Pateks here. We are talking about tools made for use. Some mention using reliable Casios for daily wear. I prefer to use a more reliable, and better built Omega for that purpose. Of course, if I had an IWC Grande Complication, costing more than $100,000, I don't know if I would wear it daily. But an Omega, of course. My SMP auto used to be worn daily for everything from showering to scuba and free-diving. Later, my Speedmaster Professional became my workhorse for, again, showering, swimming, sailing, everything except for scuba diving which I still used the Seamaster for. Yeah, the Speedys take it, trust me. Seamasters and Speedmasters aren't jewelry. They are tools. You wan't jewelry, get a Patek.
