I believe the US should have some kind of quality, reliable service here. From my point of view (which is still limited as I am still learning) it seems like the art of watchmaking (read watch repairing) is a dying art here in the U.S. Why is that?

Is it that we just don't care about quality timpieces/mechanical devices? I hope not, but who knows. What do you think?
