Re: Great point!
In Response To: Great point! ()

One thing I must add even after Omega's crumby service I am still a plan on buying new automatic watches, I seem to like tempermental Italian cars so why would a watch hurt? I am also not defending TAG in any way and I don't own one. If there is a great shortage of watchmakers in the US Omega could easily mass ship watches from the US to Switzerland for repair there. Maybe the move from Lancaster is a sign that they do know their service stinks. One thing for sure who ever the head of CONUS service is they should be mopping hallways and cleaning crappers NOT ruining a great company like Omega's reputation.

: I agree that this isn't the way it should be.
: And it blows me away that they can be SO bad
: yet Omega doesn't yank them or fix them.
: They HAVE to know of the problems since a
: lot of them get resolved by sending the
: "fixed" watch to Switzerland.

: It is so frustrating when people who don't know
: about its reputation send their watches to
: PA because its not their fault they didn't
: know.

: Omega should have a reliable service center in
: the United States and I think it hurts the
: overall brand (from a US perspective) when
: their service center here is broken.
