: I found out yesterday from my USA-located
: authorized dealer (same as Keith Downing's
: !!) that an across-the-board increase is
: going into effect April 1, 2004.
Every year, I hear of a 'price increase, coming real soon.' I think that is a standard line salespeople use to push buyers to go ahead and buy.
But this is the first time I've heard it both consistently and from multiple sources. So maybe this is the year of a REAL increase.
I've been rather amazed that there haven't been more. Several models that I watch pricing on -- like the the SMP -- have had the same price for over 10 years!
