: Every year, I hear of a 'price increase, coming
: real soon.' I think that is a standard line
: salespeople use to push buyers to go ahead
: and buy.
I AGREE THAT THIS TACTIC IS USED, PARTICULARLY BY ROLEX.
: But this is the first time I've heard it both
: consistently and from multiple sources. So
: maybe this is the year of a REAL increase.
"OUR DEALER" HAS THE HARD COPY OF THE PRICE LIST, SO I THINK IT'S LEGIT.
: I've been rather amazed that there haven't been
: more. Several models that I watch pricing on
: -- like the the SMP -- have had the same
: price for over 10 years!
NOW THAT'S SOMETHING I NEVER KNEW...THE STANDARD SMP WAS $1,750.00 FOR 10 YEARS. KEITH POSTED ANOTHER NEW MSRP PRICE ON THE BOND SMP...IT REPRESENTED ABOUT A 8-9% INCREASE.
hhhhmmmmm?
