Two years ago I had a privilege to completely restore Speedmaster cal 861.

The top left photo is showing actual watch in "as-is" condition.
Constant wear and frequent abuse by careless owner was obvious.
Restored watch (bottom right) was handed back to owner with personal
request to look after it from now on. He said "fine".
Epilogue: 18 months later, watch was returned again - this time with broken band, plexy, crown and
one pusher... with explanation: " well, the darn thing is just too fragile!"
