: single serial number is copied off a real

: But relax. OMEGA fakes normally don't include a
: laser etched serial number on the lug. Too
: expensive to do it like OMEGA does. So if
: the serial number is in the right place and
: in the tiny laser etched numbers, then your
: watch should be real.
Thanx for the reply Derek. I won the watch on ebay
and am picking it up on Saturday.I've agreed with the seller that we go along an authorised Omega jewellers to get it checked out. It all seems genuine looking at the photos and warranty card,pictograms etc.. The international guarantee even has the dealers details (even if it is in Chinese). The only thing is that there is no date on the warranty card and that worries me a little ! I'll certainly make sure that there is a serial number etched on the lug as you suggest.
