: Ive got the Moonwatch but HATE the easy-scratch
: crystal (I know... purists will call me a
: sellout). Does anyone know a reputable
: watchmaker who can replace the Hesalite with
: a sapphire crystal and install a complete
: conversion to the see through caseback.
Can't be done. There is no sapphire crystal made that will fit that watch. OMEGA does now make a variation of the MoonWatch with a sapphire crystal. But the parts are not interchangable with the one you have.
Also realize that sapphire crystals cost close to $300. So even if it were possible, that is not a cheap thing to do. Would be better to sell the one you have and buy the model that does have the features you want.
