: I was wondering if anyone on this forum has
: seen the new 49.2 mm Railmaster in person? I
No. But realize it is really a pocket watch that goes on the wrist. If you've seen the 41mm Aqua Terra or Railmaster you'll see how big that is.
The 38mm is a nice mens watch. While the 41mm is the same size as the full-size Seamaster Pro, it looks bigger because the face of the Railmaster is all dial -- no bezel to break it up. So imagine how much more huge a 49mm will be!
: called Omega directly and were told that no
: such model exists. They said that the 41 mm
: model is considered "the big one".
As Keith said, this model was just announced and won't even be officially introduced for a month or so. And dealers and the OMEGA USA office are often the LAST to know about such things. Apparently, they don't even have access to their own company's web site! So it is no surprise that they were totally clueless about this new model.
