Not completely true. There are some recent fakes of the Bond and the GMT that are really incredibly close on the details. They've got the entire Bond bracelet and clasp nearly perfect (missing only the part numbers stamped on them) and even gotten very close on the bezel marker at 12 o'clock (which was always one of the easiest giveaways). But these 'premium' fakes are not cheap -- they tend to cost in the $450 and up range.
