I have to admit, once I saw the sapphire back of an Aqua Terra I had to have it. What's the point of having that beautifully finished movement locked inside a steel case where you'll never see it?
I also purchased a Seiko 5 with a display back for the same reason. It completely fascinates me.
If I would have had a display back watch as a child I wouldn't have destroyed several trying to get a peek ;)
