your new pages, who "wrecked" his watch band, shouldn't worry. Some of those marks to a smaller degree can be found on my girlfriend's SS mini SM after two weeks of regular wear. She weares her watch also to work and has to grap into a lot of shelves, wood and steel ones. So she gets scratches very easily, also on the links where she/you normally lay down the wrist on a table. I will make a scan and show you the result before and after I did something......
Just remember only the shiny links can be treated with high spinning pollishing wheels mostly only available for pros. or jewelers. But the other regular SS parts of a link should be no problem.
