Hi all,
I am wondering what are the primary differences between the America's Cup Chronograph and the SMP 300M Chronograph (ref. 2599.80.00 pictured below). What sets cal. 3303 apart from cal. 1164?
I wear a Bond SMP and I've always loved the "chronograph version" of my watch, but the ACC has a nice updated look. Too bad it says "America's Cup" on the face (the biggest boat I've ever been on is a canoe), and it lacks the totally badass HRV (sorry joejeweler, I love the HRV and I don't even shower with my watch). The only aesthetic downside to this watch is how the print of the word "CHRONOMETER" runs right up against the date window outline. To be honest, there is entirely too much text crammed into that small space. Other than that, I love this watch.
If the ACC is more desireable, why? Also, what makes the two watches vary so significantly in price?
Thanks for any insight, folks.
