First of all, the new Seamaster America's Cup Chronograph 2594.50.00 is no longer available. It's been replaced by model 2594.52.00 which I call he SNACC - Seamaster "Non-America's Cup" Chronograph. It no longer has the America's Cup wording on the dial. In it's place is 300m/1000ft.
The Omega Caliber 33x3 is a Column Wheel Chronograph with Free Spung Balance which was developed in conjunction with F Piquet. Cal 1164 is Valjoux 7750 based, and has a Cam Chronograph Design with indexed regulation. 33x3 also has a Tri Compax dial layout with the date at 6:00. The difference is $500 MSRP, probably because of the higher grade movment.
