I am thinking about buying a seamaster and can't make my mind up as to which type to get re: auto/quartz, I have at the moment an omega that is 24 years old and still only drops 3secs a month, its got a 1310 caliber [quartz].thats why I don't know if I should get an auto, is the time keeping on par with a quartz? the current model I'm looking at has a 1538 caliber, has anyone any info on this? maker / history?, thanks for any info.
