Yes! A black dial Bond would be a beautiful watch. I believe you're right about Omega wanting distinction from the Sub with the blue Bond dial.

The truth is, no one will know how many times the Omega designers have wrestled with the idea of making a black Bond. My guess is, it has been suggested, made, product tested, and focus grouped a few times and they have decided against it. When sugesting alternate designs on forums, one must remember that if you thought of it, then Omega's desiners, who do nothing but come up with designs, have probably a mock of it somewhere in the safe. I bet you anything that there are at least a few working, chronometer tested black dial Bond watches in that safe.

But you will need the help of 007 if you wanna get your hands on it.
