Re: Accuracy of X-33?
In Response To: Accuracy of X-33? ()

Hello,

I always wear my X-33 (yes, even when swimming!(not diving)) Mine gains maybe 0.5s per month. Maybe even less. It's the most accurate watch I've ever owned. I can't tell how it performs when not worn. I know that the X-33 is not thermocompensated, but I haven't missed that feature yet!
I also notice that the jumping second hand ALWAYS lines up exactly at every second mark. I've seen many quartz watches before which are horrible in lining up correctly...even other Omega's. The movement is also a very nice piece! When you open the back, there's nothing much to see but plastic and the back of a battery but when you take out the battery and the plastic, you will see that the base plate of the movement is very nicely decorated!
I'm very pleased with this watch. Before this watch, I had the Breitling Aerospace which I also liked a lot but I definitely prefer the X-33 above the Aerospace.

Many greetings,
Frank
