I saw absolutely nothing that should have been insulting at all to you in his response. Likely, it was just a bit of humor. Or maybe he misunderstood.
But you couldn't just stop at overreacting -- you had to turn around and disparage both that poster AND the entire forum. Your participation is not welcome here again until you get your attitude cranked down several notches.
