Thanks for the advice. Your example of the Mickey Mouse watch is exactly what I'm trying to avoid. As you say any watch can be worne with any outfit, but sometimes certain combinations just do not go together very well. I'm not looking for the approval of all around, I just don't want to look daft by wearing a watch which looks completely out of place with the rest of the outfit. No-one would suggest wearing the Mickey Mouse watch - I would like to gauge views on the Seamaster. Do other owners wear them for both business and pleasure?

As far as the earlier part of my post is concerned how do you think the Tag Link Chronometer stacks up against the Seamaster - both looks wise and mechanically?
