I don't think that Hamilton has a handwound chrono movement like the Speedmaster. The movements in the autos may be the same at first glance. However, there is a big difference in finishing of the movements beween brands...in addition most companies modify the stock movements. The finishing is an art in itelf and can help a watch be more accurate as well. You have to consider the whole watch...case, bracelet, fit, finish, movement as well as the history and reputation of the brand including current inovations and service levels. Omega is superior to Hamilton in all regards. Get your Speedy and enjoy it!
