I Tried on a DeVille Today...
In Response To: Re: Bracelet... ()

I finally found a jeweler who had a DeVille on a bracelet for me to try on. Teeritz was correct about it flaring out at the sides, but the sales girl insisted that this would go away once the bracelet was properly sized. I do have a small 7" wrist but I wear a full size Bond SMP as my daily watch with no problems.

I plan to buy the watch from an out of state authorized dealer to save A LOT of money and have settled on the DeVille now that I have seen how beautiful it is in person. However, I do not want to get it if it just won't fit my wrist properly because the bracelet is too rigid in the areas where it connects to the watch. I can't get it sized and then send it back and say, "Sorry, it doesn't fit right." Once it's sized it's a used watch.

I know Keith owns one of these watches....does the bracelet stay stiff in the areas I've described once the watch is sized? Do you think my small 7" wrists will be a problem? I could really use some help on this one. Thanks in advance.

-John
