I checked Omega's latest catalogue....and you're right there is a marked difference in the shape of the horns depending on model....the Ebay pic seems to show a 2252.50....and yes the crown seems a little on the small side....the 12 baton seems too short.....but one thing I have found over the years with manufacturers is that there are small variations in watch production ..depending on stock supply, re-tooling, etc etc.....I owned a Corum Admiral's Cup a few years ago....which differed significantly from the catalogue image....yet had exactly the sane case and movement designations..turned out it was NOS and an early production which was subsequently changed in design terms....and I know it was genuine....it was bought in Bond St in London....I think in the case of the Ebay Omega...you would need to see some better photographs to reach a conclusion.

PS.....one thing I know that the fakers are not doing yet is fitting anti-reflective sapphires!
