The problem is: this model is only less than 4 years old, and there are NO variations!
And, there is a KNOWN fake looks just like this.
What's your conclusion?
: I checked Omega's latest catalogue....and
: you're right there is a marked difference in
: the shape of the horns depending on
: model....the Ebay pic seems to show a
: 2252.50....and yes the crown seems a little
: on the small side....the 12 baton seems too
: short.....but one thing I have found over
: the years with manufacturers is that there
: are small variations in watch production
: ..depending on stock supply, re-tooling, etc
: etc.....I owned a Corum Admiral's Cup a few
: years ago....which differed significantly
: from the catalogue image....yet had exactly
: the sane case and movement
: designations..turned out it was NOS and an
: early production which was subsequently
: changed in design terms....and I know it was
: genuine....it was bought in Bond St in
: London....I think in the case of the Ebay
: Omega...you would need to see some better
: photographs to reach a conclusion.
: PS.....one thing I know that the fakers are not
: doing yet is fitting anti-reflective
: sapphires!
