Hi everybody
I own a 2 years old second hand Omega Speedmaster Professional : classical as it must be : hesalite cristal and steel back.
Originally wanted the Speedmaster Professional to use it occasionaly . When i bought this watch i haven't in mind to wear it as an every day watch : my first and only georgeous timepiece, an expensive watch , a piece of 20th century technology history. So i would not imagine to risk it in my every day activity... But now, I have changed my mind.
This watch speeks to me to appear a very special watch.
After wearing it for a few months, I started to appreciate the Speedmaster with his Hesalite crystal and it became my ideal for every day wear. Actually i can't wear anything else. I fill naked without it
So what do you think of using such a watch in everyday life, observing the history of this watch i think the speedmaster is one of the thoughest and robust watches even manufactured. But in time ...?
Do some 30 or 40 year old Speedmasters owners can help me with feedback experience :
1/ how ages speedy pro in a long time every day life.
2/ I expose my watches to water : surface sea swimming, motorcycling in rainy days, is it safe for my speedy ?r perhaps i may take a strong care of it and use it occasionnaly if
thanks to share your experience or advices.
