Not sure where you are getting your info on OMEGA pricing, but the standard Coaxial Chronometer models in steel on bracelets that are comparable to the DateJust are in the $2700 range. And that's even after the April 1 OMEGA price increase.
Only Coaxials I know of in steel that sell for near that $3995 price were limited editions or on the very unusual and expensive DeVille Coaxial bracelet (the one that looks like a brick road and adds about $1000 to the price of that watch).
