I have had problems with other high ticket items and I was none too satisfied myself. After shelling out that kind of cash you expect better.
I was in constant contact with the manufacturer (easier to do when in the States and an 800 number) and was polite but very firm in my expectations of their company.
The manufacturer finally fixed the problems after sending it back once for replacement and once for repair. I am glad I waited it out. The product is 100% now.
Never loose your cool when dealing with the manufacturer. Good luck to you if you are going to contact Omega directly.
