For the answer to the NUMBER #1 most frequently asked question here--for details or value of a specific older Omega watch you have--go to: Tell Me About My Omega. | Learn more about How To Include Photos and HTML In Your Postings. | To contact someone with a question not relevant to other readers of the forum, please click on their email address and contact them privately. |
Three questions:
1) What is the real story as to why the Omegamatic Seamaster was discontinued?
2) The brochure says that a "capacitor" is charged on this watch -- is it truly a capacitor (which can hold infinite number of charges), or is it another term that Omega is using for a "rechargeable battery" (which has a limited charge/discharge life and must be replaced)?
3) Is there a way to have the skeleton hands filled with some type on luminescence (tritium or luma-bright)? Since only the tips of the hands have tritium luminescence, I cannot see them at night since they get lost in the number dial.
