A photo is ABSOLUTELY CRITICAL to identification.
While I know you are trying hard to describe the watch, there is nothing in your description that doesn't match hundreds of Seamaster models made from 1948 to 1970. Not your fault, almost all watches look the same and sound the same when described by someone who is not an expert. It takes an expert to know what tiny, subtle differences are actually unique enough to tell the various individual models apart.
But also understand that OMEGA really did not start naming specific models until the 1980's. So anything more specific than "Seamaster" that describes your watch will be a numeric designation that will mean little to you unless you need to order replacement parts for it.
However, if you can find the 8-digit serial number for the watch (should be on the inside, engraved on the movement), that can be used to look up more details on it using the OMEGA vintage watch information service on their website at omegawatches.com.
