: After a long wait I'm delighted to say that
: I've bought a Seamaster Pro!.
: The postings on this forum were invaluable in
: helping me to decide between the black/blue
: face so thanks to all for your opinions. It
: was a tough choice as both are really great
: looking watches, but I decided on the blue
: (2531.80) after trying on both. The blue
: looks much better in real life than many of
: the pictures posted on the net. Several
: Internet shots appear a little too bright
: giving the face a light blue appearance,
: when in fact it is a much subtler and darker
: shade of blue.
: Bought mine at the airport in Amsterdam on
: Friday for about 20% less than the
: recommended UK price, which is still a lot
: more than some of the Intenet discounters,
: but there you go.
: The red leather packaging is the icing on the
: cake. I'm still debating whether this is the
: everyday watch but it's far too nice to keep
: in it's box for weeks at a time.
: It's never been so good to check the time!.
Good on you mate... Mine is three days old and I am still loving it! I chose the blue becos it signifies the deep blue ocean. You have made a good choice... and I suggest you wear it everyday cos basically if you leave it idleing in the box you have set the time on and off... and as its brand new.. you got to break in the watch too to check for faultiness.. which is what I am doing currently! Cheers!
