Any infomration on 1968 Omega Cal 601?

For a while, I've been looking for an Omega which was made approx. the same year I was born - 1968. Looking at the serial numbers on another Omega website, I found I needed to find something with a serial number starting 26...

So, now I have it (bought from a dealer). It is a military watch I think - simple design, no date, black dial, stainless steel case, suits a plain leather strap. It has the 601 Calibre. It is in superb condition, and needed only a new strap, now in place. I am very pleased with my "new" watch and strangely enough enjoying owning my first manual winder (especially as its a Omega!) for at least 25 years.

Anyway I have a couple of questions:

I think it is keeping good time for its age/mechanism - it loses say 10 seconds every 24 hours, so a minor adjustment every week keeps it just right. Is this about right for a 1968 Cal 601? I am winding it up each morning.

On its back are the following markings:

W.W.B
6B / 159
(plus a longer code beginning Y2 and the military arrow)

What does the W.W.B. stand for? I read W.W.W. is Waterproof Wrist Watch....

Many thanks.

Adetri.
