Well......i suppose it does matter which finger you're talking about! For my watch i can slip a pinky in between the band and my wrist........but not any other finger......
.......and, this estimation won't work if all your fingers are HUGE! hehe But i have smaller hands anyway, with my ring finger a size 8.
Maybe we need a more uniform standard......and say if you can slip a couple of regular pencils in between comfortably it's about right, or a single pen with the push top.
