: When most watch enthusiasts, here or on TZ, discuss the Constellation line,
: they talk about vintage watches, especially the pie pan models.
: I surprised myself a few weeks ago by ordering the 1120 auto movement Connie
: from Markus. I don't care what anyone else thinks, this is a great looking
: watch, uniquely styled, with a fabulous chronometer movement. It is
: possible that scans of this watch simply don't do it justice. In a scan, I
: think it looks just the wrong side of tacky. Live and in person, it is an
: elegant classic.

Jeff:
I have a 1967 Connie. It is only gold "plated", but when it comes to telling "beautiful time", the Connie hits a home run. It is still "dressy" enough to wear anywhere, but with the leather strap (not signed) I feel comfortable for casual anywhere.
