Re: The real (dumb) things
In Response To: The real things ()

This original post reminds me of an interview I saw many years ago. The journalist was speaking to a very respectable Japanese restaurant owner. On the menu were two types of tea. One of the cups costed the equivalent of $1USD. The other cup, apparently poured from the same pot, costed some astronomical amount around $10,000USD per cup. The journalist asked the owner what the differences were in the two cups of tea. The Japanese owner, having a knack for the obvious, point out that one was reasonably priced and the other was for exclusive individuals. The journalist pressed for more details. The owner simply responded something to the effect, "There is no difference, but if someone is willing to pay $10,000USD for our cup of tea we will accept their money."

Respectfully,

Aaron
