: Hi,
: I like you love the sweeping movement of an
: automatic. The mechanism is amazing, really
: impressive how you can make something like
: this work. In spite of this I prefer the
: quartz. It looks exactly the same and has
: the same parts besides the movement. As a
: pilot on long routes I don't get to move
: around a lot, my quartz works perfectly
: whatever I do. I know that my watch allways
: show the correct time. I have a lot of
: electronic equipment around me in the
: Airbus, but I still tend to look at my watch
: a lot. The watch should be as reliable as
: possible, lets not forget that this is it's
: most important task.
: The black SMP fits the cockpit environment
: perfectly. I just need a quick glance at it
: to see exactly what time it is. I set the
: time once a month, this is MORE than enough.
: As I said I like the mechanical movements, but
: if you really want a watch that is exact
: with minimum of problems, then you should go
: for the quartz. I have considered to buy an
: auto to wear on special occations, but it
: would never replace the one I have today...
: Anders,
: Scandinavian Airlines
If you do prefer quartz, why not go for the Breitling superquartz. I thougt the Aerospace is the watch for quartz-loving pilots?
