I did a more comprehensive search here. Guess the thing to do is send it to Switzerland. NOT the PA service center in the US.
Turnaround time ~ appears to be about 1-2 month from what I gather?
quality of service? mixed reviews... Not sure if I should send my watch in... cost vs. quality service value.
still scared to send in my SMP 2598.80, if i get it back worse... hmm.... what do you experts think? mine is running 10sec/day slow. everything else I'm fine with; haven't serviced it in 5 yrs since I bought it. Minor scratches on braclet. Only thing is the 10sec/day delay that bothers me = 5 minutes a month. Guess it's not COSC compliant anymore -4/+6 sec. standard. Will the service result in being COSC compliant? Thanks.
