At first I had the Seamaster Pro (James Bond), but then I traded up for the chronograph version. Both watches are great, but I just liked the chronograph version better.
In terms of the chronograph being too thick or cumbersome, I've never experienced any problems with this watch or had any regrets about buying it. It is much thicker than the Seamaster Pro, but it actually fits my wrist better (and I got a small wrist). That's because the lugs curve downward a lot more and that keeps the watch centered on my wrist. As a result, the watch does not slide up and down my wrist as much. I've had this watch for 4 months now and the watch is still in pristine condition (amazingly there are no scratches on it).
