bezel tap noise on Seamaster

Hello. I have recently bought a full size SM chronometer(James Bond model NOT the James Bond limited edition). When I touch/tap on the bezel it make a taping metal noise against the metal of the base. Clearly it's not a good/tight fit and it is annoying when I bump the face of the watch against my body as it makes a metal against metal tapping sound. Is it normal for a SM's bezel to have this loose fitting? Or am I a paranoid (check my spelling). Thank you for any response
