Multifunction Movement Replacement

Here's something I've considered but I'm not quite sure if it's possible...I'm having problems with my 120 Multifunction Watch that I am very fond of, and was wondering if it was possible to replace the multifunction movement with a normal quartz movement found in the other 120's?

I would lose the digital features (which I can live with) but would probably end up with a more reliable watch. If it is possible, can I also add a new second hand?
