There is no way you should be buying an expensive watch with your student loan money. Who knows how long you'll be paying the interest on that loan after you get out of school. It is just common sense that you don't borrow money to buy consumer items.
However even if you are not using loan money you still should not be spending that much on a watch you don't need when your in collage. If you plan to have any fun in school you'll probobly end up in plenty of situations where your watch will get scrached, bumped, hit, lost, or stolen.
Furthermore a expensive watch is a status symbol first, time piece second. In school people just don't care about this type of statue and if your one of the people who does then get over it.
Go out and get yourself a nice inexpensive auto if your really into watches, or a quartz if you don't care. Fossel does make some cool looking watches. Use it to tell the time and don't even think about watches again until your 25 or better yet 30...hell make it 40!
