The bezel on my SMP does sometimes 'click' & 'rock' but only if I grasp it firmly and press down, not by knocking it against myself (how do you do that)? I do find my SMP bezel quite difficult to rotate sometimes. Bezel operation is one of only two design araes where my Sub-Mariners were superior to my SMP. They are easier to grasp, rotate more smoothly and have no play in them. (I still prefer the SMP though)!
