Actually, Tissot is owned by the Swatch group, which also owns Omega. Everything I have read about Tissot watches indicates that they are a very high quality watch for the price. I bought one as a quartz backup to my Bond SMP chronometer, and I have found it to be a very nice watch. Not as nice as my Omega but a great value for the money.
