: Does anyone know where I can get a genuine
: leather Omega strap and deployment buckle
: from? It'll be for a vintage 1950's
: Seamaster.

Do realize that "genuine OMEGA" straps are not cheap. Their leather straps range from US$80-160 and the deployant clasp is separate and costs anohter $160. So are you prepared to spend $250-320 for this, just to get "genuine OMEGA?"

Honestly, your watch can accomodate just about any brand of strap. Probably takes a standard 18mm width strap (but measure yourself or take it to a jeweler to be sure before buying). So you have a lot of choices if you don't feel you just have to have the OMEGA brand strap.

: Any websites anyone can recomend?

www.ofrei.com has genuine OMEGA straps and OMEGA buckles you can put on other brands of straps. Plus they carry a nice line of straps from Kreisler at great prices.

www.banda.com has neat straps and deployant clasps.

www.westcoasttime.com also has deployant clasps that fit standard straps.
