: Any input on watchesplanet.com and the
: quality/price of product.

As with almost all gray market dealers, the 'product' is the same. Watch companies do NOT distribute factory seconds or reduced quality versions of their products to cut rate dealers. Though there are cases where such dealers may sell you as a 'new' watch one that someone returned. I just heard from someone two weeks ago that had that happen to them.

But what you really need to be looking at more is the REPUTATION, RELIABILITY and CUSTOMER SERVICE from any store you buy your watch from. Are they good on delivery? Do they charge your credit card, then leave you waiting weeks for them to ship the product? Do they handle customer problems favorably? What are their return policies? And since you get NO FACTORY WARRANTY from NON-authorized dealers, how reliable is their service department and will this dealer even be in business 1-2 years from now to handle any warranty claims?

So realize that the lower the price, the more likely the dealer is likely to skimp on being reliable or providing good customer service -- making it a riskier purchase for you.
