Re: Is Dynamic Bracelet a total loss??

: I've read all about how the dynamic bracelet is
: a real hair puller. Is there anyone out
: there who likes the bracelet on this watch?

I've heard from people who had no issues with the bracelet. But I am one of those plagued with the hair pulling.

However, the Dynamic looks so good on a HUGE range of straps, that I don't miss the bracelet at all. I swap mine between black shark, black matte leather, brown suede, black/gray/green NATO, and even yellow alligator/shark straps.

: Also, I found a local shop selling a new
: Dynamic date w/ bracelet for $795 new. Is
: this overpriced for this watch?

Retail price was $995, so that is 20% off. That's not awful, not great. Since they stopped production on these in 2000, finding new ones is getting more difficult. Though OMEGA did have a huge inventory built up at the time they stopped.

If you do have the choice, get it on the bracelet anyway -- even if you immediately take it off and start wearing it on a strap. Having the bracelet is always a cheaper option than buying it later and can add value if you decide to resell.

If you don't have to have a brand new one, you can often find a good used one for close to $500 at reputable used watch dealers like watchseller.com (where I got mine) or bernardwatch.com.
