: A used recent/current model OMEGA can sell for
: up to 50% of its original retail price. The
: retail price on that piece is currently
: $1895. So one in virtually new condition
: should sell used for about $900.
: Lack of a serial number or lack of
: documentation to get the factory warranty
: would subtract from that price.
: The box is a nicety, but does not add any
: significant value. On the other hand, lack
: of the box on a piece only three months old
: would dhave been suspicious.
: The papers and receipt are only important only
: if they are complete and legit as the proof
: of purchase from an authorized dealer
: granting a valid factory warranty.
Thank you, someone is selling one for $930 which includes shipping and insurance so...i take it this is pretty fair. Minor scuff marks on clasp (understandable) and he even sent me pic of copy of the receipt.
