Speedmaster Broad Arrow - Dials not working!

Good afternoon,

After significant researching I purchased (on ebay)a Broad Arrow. I realize this is one of the most dangerous ways to purchase an Omega, but I am confident it is not counterfit. The problem I do have is the chronograph does not work. The pusher buttons advance each dial by 5 when I push them rather than working properly. I went to an official Omega dealer but the salesperson knew less than I do (and gave me misinformation that I learned the corrections to on this site). I am very nervous as this was a significant purchase for me and my first foray into a watch I have wanted for over 10 years. Has anyone had any experience with the chronograph dials not working while the watch overall keeps good time? If need be, I will send it for repairs but I want to understand the problem first.

Thank you in advance,

Bradford
